Write to your MP
Posted by olisbColin Challen MP (Chairman of the All-Party Climate Change Group) tabled a Commons motion (EDM 689) on Wednesday 4th Feb, welcoming the launch of We Support Solar and urging the Government to ensure that the potential of solar PV is supported in the Government’s Renewable Energy Strategy due to be published this Spring.
This is a real result, but we still need to ask more MPs to support the EDM.
Please email your constituency MP and ask him/her to sign EDM 689. You can do this very easily by visiting www.theyworkforyou.com to find their address and following the instructions online. This will only take two minutes of your time and will really help the campaign.
Please ask your MP specifically to sign EDM 689 and put “Please support solar energy EDM 689” in the subject line of your email. Remember also to write both as a company and as an ordinary constituent - you may live in a different constituency to your company address. Also please encourage your colleagues and friends to write to their MPs.
You can visit the Parliment website track the progress of the EDM.
Many thanks, from the We Support Solar team.
